No. 4 What to Expect During a Free Permanent Makeup Consultation

Hi, me again. Today I want to talk about what to expect during the free permanent makeup consultation process, what it is, why I do them and what to expect. It is a vital part of the permanent makeup journey so I feel it needs its own blog to properly dive into the detail. I find that some ladies are a little intimidated at the thought of having a tattoo on their face andit is likely that you could also be in that group of people. Don’t worry, I’m here to put you at ease and walk you through every step of the way.

The first thing to know is that I offer a free consultation to all my clients. During this meeting, I will take the time to get to know you and understand your needs. I’ll ask you about the treatments you’re interested in, what style and shape you hope to achieve, and any concerns you may have. This information is crucial because it guides the entire process, from choosing the right pigments to creating the perfect shape.

After we’ve had a detailed discussion about your preferences, I will commence with drawing the ideal shape and style that aligns with your desired outcome for your chosen permanent makeup treatment. This step allows us to transfer all the information you just gave us onto the desired area, whether it’s your brows or lips.

I will do my best to create the perfect shape, but it may take a few attempts to get it just right. You’ll have the chance to check the drawn-on results and make any necessary adjustments.

It’s important to keep in mind that the shape you see at this stage is not the final result. Rather, it’s a visual representation of what can be achieved. I find that many clients appreciate this step, as it can be challenging to imagine the final result of permanent makeup. I’m happy to take the time to create the perfect shape for you, so don’t hesitate to let us know if any changes are needed. This is definitely not a time to be shy.

After I finished the pencil drawing, it’s time for the patch test. This quick and painless test involves pricking your finger with a lancet, then mixing some numbing cream with the pigment and applying it to the area.

The purpose of this test is to ensure that you don’t have an allergic reaction to any of the products used during the procedure. Although our pigments are hypoallergenic, it’s crucial to do a patch test to minimize any risk. If everything goes well with the patch test, we’ll schedule a date for your treatment. I understand that permanent makeup is a big decision, and want to make sure you feel comfortable and confident with the procedure. I’ll take the time to explain every step of the process and answer any questions you may have before you leave the consultation.
I want you to feel like you’re in good hands with me, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure you have a positive and stress-free experience. In conclusion, the free consultation is a vital step in the permanent makeup process, and it’s designed to ensure that you’re comfortable and confident with the procedure. From discussing your preferences to creating the perfect shape, then doing the patch test, I’ll take the time to guide you through every step. If you’re ready to take the plunge and achieve the look you’ve been dreaming of, book your free consultation with me today via the form at the bottom of the page!

Until next time.

Happy beautifying!
