My name is Jenny Hutchings and after spending years in the corporate world, I decided to follow my true passion: helping people feel confident and beautiful. In 2020, I began my journey into the world of Permanent Makeup. After extensive research, I trained with Katy Jobbins, a multi-award-winning industry leader known for her unparalleled 1-on-1 training. This foundation allowed me to hone my skills in creating flawless, natural-looking permanent makeup.
Today, I specialise in crafting perfect eyebrows through techniques like natural hair strokes, soft powder, and ombré styles, as well as offering lash enhancement eyeliner and lip blush for a complete, effortless look. My work allows women to wake up with beautiful brows, defined eyes, and a natural blush of colour on their lips, eliminating the need for daily makeup routines. From those recovering from medical conditions like cancer to those simply seeking convenience, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible clients who leave my studio feeling renewed and confident.
Beyond permanent makeup, I also offer Laser Tattoo Removal. After meeting so many women with undesired and outdated brow tattoos, I recognized the need for a safe and effective solution to remove them. My training now extends to advanced laser technology, allowing me to offer both Permanent Makeup Removal and Body Tattoo Removal. My permanent makeup machine is the “creme de la creme” of machines, handcrafted, developed and put together by masters of their craft in the US, it has been personally tuned to my hand-speed and hand-pressure. It accepts the largest range of needles on the market today meaning I can select the perfect one for each clients unique style.
I use superior quality hypoallergenic colours and the world’s first machine-optimised formula known for incredible colour retention. All the colour pigments that I use have been specifically formulated through years of research and development using only the finest grades of iron oxides and lakes, the same ingredients found in make-up giants like Estee Lauder, Lancome and Channel. They are all medical grade and from the leading suppliers to the medical profession worldwide. They have supreme colour concentration meaning less touch ups over the years. Whatever your hair colour I can blend the perfect colour choice to suit you, something we work out together at the consultation. This will be an informal chat it gives me time to get to know you (and you me!), find out why you would like permanent makeup, what your expectations are, and most importantly what you are looking for in terms of shape and colour.
You will be asked to fill out a short medical questionnaire to ensure it’s safe to carry out a permanent makeup treatment on you.
During the consultation you will have the chance to ask me any questions about what will happen during the treatment to make you feel more at ease for when you next come in.
A patch test will be carried out during the consultation so I can make sure you aren’t allergic to any of the products I will be using. This involves using a small lancet to prick your skin on your inner arm, when I will then add some pre mixed ink and leave it on for a few minutes, to check there will be no reaction. If you live far away then I can post this out to you with instructions on how to perform it at home.
Once you’re 100% happy with the planned shape, colour and density, we’ll book you in for your first treatment session.
The treatment takes 2 sessions to complete, approximately 6 weeks apart.
After the first session your permanent make up will be slightly darker and bolder for a few days, but it will soften approximately 10%-50%, depending on treatment area.
At the second appointment we will tweak any areas, thicken or adjust colour as desired to completely perfect your permanent makeup.
